Dear Soul on the Other Side of the Screen,

I'm so happy to share this moment together and honor the GEMINI New Moon!!!!!!! With my Sun, Moon, AND Venus in Gemini, I have some things I'm really inspired to share with you about this energy alongside our resident Qoya Astrologer Virginia Rosenberg (also a Gemini!).

I've been in hundreds of circles with all women in Qoya for classes, workshops, weeklong retreats, Intensive teacher trainings, online gatherings, and conference calls, and the one thing that is voiced over and over and over (and over!) again is the desire to create. The call to take a spark of inspiration and start a fire. The growing curiosity and sense of our power, as individuals and as women, can be remembered and lived in this lifetime. The path to trust the feeling of truth in the body and honor our inner wisdom and unique gifts in service to the highest good of all.

The New Moon in Gemini on May 25, 2017 (3:44pm EST) is a refinement. An affirmation for the power to choose. We are multidimensional beings. We are dynamic. We exist in many realms and worlds at once. We can surf between wisdom and recklessness. Fly in the schools of discipline and raw impulse. Life always invites us to learn. Study contrast. To access oneness, play in the realms of duality. We can flit and fly through chapters of life and gather all sorts of interesting information. At some point, we need to make a choice. Sometimes what we want is not really what we need. Allow yourself to be properly guided. Patiently wait for precise channels to open. If it is really meant for you, it will find you. You may encounter an option of lust or love. It could be an opportunity to honor your commitments. It could be an invitation to deepen your ability to love. Channel your energies constructively. Powerfully love your real self. The snake sheds her skin. Let go into the power of love, and be reborn.

Who would have thought that we could put together oracle cards, sacred space, fun and easy feminine ways of moving the body, yoga as prayer, honoring our shadow, shamanic shaking, learning the Grapevine, and dancing like no one is watching, while meeting a few new best friends and listening to a playlist that takes you from Putamayo world music to Top 40 to obscure indie to Sia to medicine songs?! Who would have thought that initiating over 300 teachers would lead to an article in US News about a trend in fitness of movement that isn't only about the body, but about expanding the capacity of meaning that women can feel when moving their bodies?!
