When did you take your first Qoya class? I found myself in an incredible glass-walled room in Costa Rica, overlooking the ocean, dancing with 30 other women from all over the world. It was the first retreat I'd ever attended, and my first Qoya class. I found Qoya through serendipity, but it was no accident! Guidance clearly led me to be here.

What does it mean for you to teach Qoya? To teach Qoya means to connect. To our bodies. To one another. In the loving spirit of our deepest knowing. To recall and revitalize truth as our birthright.

What is your favorite song to dance to right now? Impossible to choose one song! But lately Ethiopian tunes and soulful, jazz-infused R and B ballads or old-school hip hop get me moving most.

What book has inspired you on the path to embodying the feminine? The Magdalen Manuscript by Tom Kenyon and Judy Sion. A textbook for alchemical sex magick. Honoring the teachings of Mother Isis.

What would you tell someone who is thinking of taking a Qoya class for the first time? Let your body lead you. Allow your body to teach you and guide you. Befriend your beloved body: the portal to knowing and being.

Classes: I'm based in Asheville, NC, but I currently travel frequently to teach! You can find class information on my website.
