Lainie Love Dalby is a Misfit Minister, Sacred Artist & (R)evolutionary Muse on a mission to free human spirits that have been oppressed & devalued, especially women & the LGBTQ community. As an embodied spiritual leader with her own brand of multimedia ministry, she is dismantling old systems, ideas and ways of being that dim our inner #SOULSPARKLE, promote separateness, and limit our full (r)evolutionary potential. She is also deeply passionate about ending the violence we perpetrate against each other and our own bodies by reminding us of our inherent Divinity within.

Her ultimate goal is to help us feel more comfortable in our own skin and live in greater alignment with who we truly are by unleashing our creativity and capacity to Sparkle SHAMELESSLY™ once again. Through her sacred arts education, spiritual immersions & leadership mentoring, she is aiding us in our own personal healing & transformation so we can become leaders of change – in our relationships, our work environments, our communities and the world – and co-create our lives as a great masterpiece for the good of all. As global ritualist Barbara Biziou has said, "Like a great sculpture, Lainie Love can see what lives inside of you and frees it to live fully." Lainie will be teaching at the Qoya Fierce Feminine Retreat in Costa Rica from April 1 - 8, 2017.

Currently co-teaching monthly class at MINKA in Brooklyn with Stephanie Severe. Visit http://www.MINKABrooklyn.com for details.

When did you take your first Qoya class? The delicious Qoya Goddess and founder of Sacred Seduction®, Kitty Cavalier, brought me to my first Qoya class with her best friend and fellow teacher, Vivi la Voix.

What does it mean for you to teach Qoya? To say YES to my soul’s deepest longings and listen to her whispers of truth. It is an opportunity to embrace my embodiment in this lifetime and to help others do the same. It is my favorite practice in my transformation toolbox to access myself and my most authentic essence in any moment. It is also a deep honor to carry this sacred transmission out into the world. Qoya is truly a form of Sacred Art, what I teach in the world, and it is a Divine marriage with my own sacred work.

What is your favorite song to dance to right now? Champion by RuPaul

What book has inspired you on the path to embodying the feminine? So many! The Dance of the Dissident Daughter by Sue Monk Kidd was at the top of the list. Oriah Mountain Dreamers book series: The Initiation, The Dance & The Call; and the Feminine Face of God as well as Cakes for the Queens of Heaven

What would you tell someone who is thinking of taking a Qoya class for the first time? I hope you’ll dance (with us, and with all of life).
