I was born and raised in Lucerne, Switzerland, and I always loved to dance, move, and do gymnastics. In 2017, I did a 200-hour Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in India, but I never felt the need to teach. After the Qoya retreat in Greece in 2018, I could feel the call to bring Qoya to Switzerland and do my sacred work. I started with the Intro right after the retreat and did my Initiation in September 2018. After the Intensive Training in 2019, I knew that I was ready for Qoya and to spread the love. Right now, I’m trying to build up my Qoya community in Lucerne and working full time as a nurse. Yay!

When did you take your first Qoya class? I did my first Qoya Class in May 2018. I had the opportunity to take part in a Qoya retreat on beautiful Silver Island in Greece with lovely Sonja Lockyer. From the first class on, I could feel the call to teach Qoya and bring the joy back home to Switzerland.

What does it mean for you to teach Qoya? I love to spread the joy and make other people happy. It's amazing to experience Qoya as medicine and give that knowledge to other women. I always loved to help other people and support them during grief or suffering as well as sharing love and happiness. I love to empower women to belief in their intuition, trust in their bodies, and accept themselves.

What is your favorite song to dance to right now? I can't stop dancing to "Giant" from Calvon Harris and opening my heart to that beat.

What book has inspired you on the path to embodying the feminine? I love the "Woman Who Runs With the Wolves," which is truly the wild essence and Qoya meaning for me, as well as the "Autobiography of an Orgasm."

What would you tell someone who is thinking of taking a Qoya class for the first time? Just do it, feel it, and love it. And most important: go with the flow!
