Qoya's resident astrologer, Virginia Rosenberg, shares that the New Moon in Pisces March 8, 2016 (8:54pmEST) is also a Total Solar Eclipse. Eclipses are like reset buttons: the big lights in the sky (Sun and Moon) temporarily go out as our Earth passes between them. When they come back on again, something has changed. Listen quietly; sometimes the deepest shifts are the most subtle. Close your eyes. Turn your senses within. What is there, beyond the story? Underneath all form? Beyond your past and potential future, what lies eternal? Something permeating. Something shared by all of us. Something like the ocean. The ocean is a wide expanse that makes us big and small at once. The ocean effortlessly and constantly churns stone and bone into minuscule pieces of sand. The ocean is the oldest thing, refreshing and humbling all it touches. There are things in life beyond our control. Life includes loss. It includes disappointment, failure, and grief. Life brings tears and joy and things that help us to surrender. Life is always healing us. When I heal, you heal. When you heal, your family heals. When your family heals, our community heals. When our community heals, our world heals. We are healing. We are love. Together, we heal our collective past so that we may know and live unconditional love. The world is love. Believe it, allow it, and it is so.

Life offers many lessons in letting go. Many opportunities to expand our capacity to receive. Many invitations to give. The balance between them can require you to dance. To flow.

Scientists report that 71% of our physical earth is water. Up to 60% of the human adult body is water, while the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water.

Water's essence is VERY FEMININE.

If you look at the chart below, you'll notice something. Take a deep breath and think of the very best times in your life: what is the one thing they have in common? I venture to say, it is FLOW. When you are in harmony with self, others, spirit, life itself, there is a surge of appreciation for being fully merged with the present moment, surrendering to the immensity of intensity and trusting it.

In my book, I focus on the importance not only of embodying the feminine but of the sacred marriage that honors the masculine and feminine energy within each of us.

How can we create structure in our life that allows our feminine to fully flow? How do we co-create partnerships with the masculine in which we feel supported and inspired to nourish all our brothers and sisters from our full feminine expression?

Here are some ways to find out:

1) Do this movement ritual to embody the essence of this new moon and solar eclipse.

2) Explore joining us for the Co-Ed Qoya Retreat. If you have a male friend, sweetheart, or family member who you have been longing to share this work with, now is the time. If you are a same sex couple, this retreat will also be phenomenal for you, as it is about your own balance of masculine and feminine, not only in relationships but within yourself. No man or woman to invite? Come by yourself! We will have both couples and singles at the retreat, and the wisdom shared will be equally empowering for all, no matter your gender, relationship status, or sexual preference. We all embody masculine and feminine - come explore the two energies within yourself.
