You know that saying, "calm seas don't make strong sailors"? For many of us on the journey to continue to choose love, we face many challenges. If you're paying attention, life can break your heart every day. Unrequited love, the job you wished for, the "what if?" things so different than how things really are - as well as the beauty of the sunlight coming through the trees, her smile, his laugh, all of it.
Astrologer Virginia Rosenberg shares that:
The Full Moon in Capricorn July 1st 2015 (10:19pm EST) is intense. Shadows arise, and action must be taken. We are pressed to let go of the illusion of security and control. Deepest emotions, desires, and passions are stirred. Energy needs to move, but be careful not to overexert. How? Have fun! Despite sensitive psychological material or power struggles emerging, let your hair down and don’t take yourself so seriously. Abundance surrounds. This is a great time to do a shadow dance, shake it off thoroughly, and return home to love. Know that you are growing, and that real, sustainable growth takes time.
For today's full moon movement ritual, you are invited to feel more by getting into your hips, dive into the deep end of your shadow, and see if through movement you can release the energetic hold of the past and come into the power of the present to choose love and create from there.
You may not be able to judge and analyze enough to figure everything out, but I know that you can feel your truth in your bones if you take the time to listen to the voice of your soul. All relationships get better with intimacy.
Take your heartbreak, the intensity of the moment, as a dance partner and get to know one another. Get clarity on your next step after you dance by feeling your truth in your body and trusting it more than before.
In Qoya, there's no way you can do it wrong and the way you know you're doing it right is it feels right in your body. Same metaphor for life. What if you gave yourself permission to explore your truth? The broken open truth?
"The soul doesn't seem to make the distinction between the light and the dark. It chooses both. It doesn't care whether you do something successfully or fail at it; it just wants to know, did you do it your way? Was it you who failed, or were you trying to be someone else when you failed? If it was you, the soul is happy, because it was your experience, your failure, and no one can take it away from you. Question is not: did you fail or win? The question becomes: did you go your own way?"
We can no longer wait for someone else to tell us what to do. It is imperative that we learn how to access the wisdom within, and have the wildness to follow it in order to experience freedom - just in time for the 4th of July.
May your truth ring a little louder today, this week, always.
