With her passion for dance and reverence for ritual, Qoya and Hope are a divine match. As a certified Qoya teacher, she uses various forms of movement to assist women in remembering their essence as inherently wise, wild, and free. Hope teaches weekly Qoya classes in the greater Nashville area. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for the current class offerings or inquiries to host Qoya in your studio.
When did you take your first Qoya class? *August 29, 2015* I attended an Alchemy of Pleasure retreat and Qoya was serendipitously on the schedule. It was love at first dance!
What does it mean for you to teach Qoya? In my experience, Qoya is a potent portal for transformation. It is an honor to be part of the Qoya lineage and to serve my community as a teacher.
What is your favorite song to dance to right now? "Anything Could Happen" by Ellie Goulding
What book has inspired you on the path to embodying the feminine? Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. The Great Cosmic Mother by Monica Sjoo and Barbara Mor. The Book of She by Sara Avant Stover.
What would you tell someone who is thinking of taking a Qoya class for the first time? If you are getting a nudge from the universe, then go for it! There's no way to do it wrong, and all you have to do is show up.
