Born, raised and currently living on the Canadian Prairies, I am a hardy and heart-y woman. I have spent the last number of years creating space in my life to follow my intuition, to trust magic and moments of intense growth and expansion. You are most likely to find me laughing, listening and hugging.
When did you take your first Qoya class? August 2015.
What does it mean for you to teach Qoya? It means that I get to share one of my favourite things in the world – safe, sacred space to feel good in your body in this moment.
What is your favorite song to dance to right now? In this moment, it is “Tween Love” by Bay Ledges.
What book has inspired you on the path to embodying the feminine? So many! But if I think of the first ones that inspired me, “One is the Sun” by Patricia Nell Warren and “The Good Body” by Eve Ensler come to mind! And then the list just goes on and on from there.
What would you tell someone who is thinking of taking a Qoya class for the first time? I would say – stop thinking! And take a couple deep breaths. Then I would tell them some of my favorite things about Qoya, like how you can’t do it wrong, and you know you’re doing it right when it feels good and that, it’s not about how it looks, and that it reminds me of my essence within the first 5 minutes. Amazing.
