"I believe that when we take great care of ourselves, we are in a better position to take care of the people and things in our lives. My desire is to inspire you to do something for yourself today, right now, that you love. Something that feels good. Something that’s good for you. Warning: it may require you to step out of your comfort zone. But therein lies the gold! Exquisite Self Care is a personal affair. But it’s also really fun when we do it together."
Mishel curates events and experiences inspired by some of her favorite forms of self care, ranging from food to Qoya.
When did you take your first Qoya class? I actually took the very first Qoya class ever in NYC back in January 2009. It was the gateway to a wild new world I've been exploring since.
What does it mean for you to teach Qoya? I love creating space for this healing ritual, and to hold safe space for other women to experience it themselves. I love that I'm just a conduit for the perfect healing designed to occur in each class.
What is your favorite song to dance to right now? Love for $ale by Jamie Cullum
What book has inspired you on the path to embodying the feminine? Women Who Run with the Wolves
What would you tell someone who is thinking of taking a Qoya class for the first time? Do it! Do it! Do it!
