Transmute Light Into Art, Movement, and Magic

You've been preparing, and now - you're ready.

To share your light with others.
To build the worlds you want, inner and outer.
To respond to your life with movement, art, and creativity.
To take action and write a new story.

You've been chasing this a long time.

There have been obstacles:
feeling blocked, doubtful, lonely,
unfocused and uninspired.

Yet - you're feeling a fresh sense of urgency
to finally move through these obstacles.

You are a force of nature and now is your time.

It's time for inspired action.
Community, excitement, and reverence.
The pure joy of creation.

The secret of Iceland:
she's just like you.

Majestic. Magical. Full of light.
A landscape of wanderlust and yearning.
Wise, wild, free, and full of love.

Let your soul's inspiration be the place your feet land.

This retreat offers a blend of Qoya movement, ritual, outdoor excursions, art experience, and spa time overlooking a pristine lake that is fed by hot springs.

(We dare you to read that sentence again and see if your heart doesn't start racing.)

It is a full reset for your mind, body, and spirit, engaging your creativity, senses, and soul.

By blending time to rest and relax with nourishing practices and time for fun adventures, we will satisfy your wanderlust while sending you home feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and ready to shine brighter in the world.

YOUR LOVE FOR THE PLANET IS SELF-LOVE.

On this retreat, you will reconnect to your body as a part of nature.

You will dance with the 5 elements that live within you
and find deep healing in nature.

We will also focus on the energy of the Summer Solstice,
harnessing our personal light in the earth's time of greatest light.

Iceland is a land of contrasts:
fire and ice,
deep winter and midnight sun,
isolation that creates a vibrant and warm culture.

Using this land as medicine and metaphor,
how might we also find love for the contrasts within ourselves?

On this retreat, you will:

  • Feel pleasure in your body through daily Qoya classes
  • Nourish yourself with healthy, delicious food
  • Spark your soul in ritual and ceremony
  • Engage your creativity in studio and in nature art sessions with Tara
  • Celebrate the Summer Solstice
  • Venture out to explore Iceland's geysers, waterfalls, hot rivers, a crater lake, and more!
  • Get back in sync with nature's rhythms
  • Go home with a new community of supportive sisters through the retreat and beyond

“Fabiola is a master at going with the flow, fully embodied in her feminine and able to source inspiration, healing and pleasure from whatever comes up in a session. Whenever I have worked with Fabiola, I have not only had a deep experience of her radiance, light and connection to eternal love, but my own.”

-ROCHELLE SCHIECK, Founder of Qoya

“It was such a profound and invaluable gift to get to do art with a brilliantly talented and gigantic-hearted artist like Tara. I left the studio with a piece of myself expressed in a way I never would have had the opportunity to without Tara's expertise and her sacred artistic space. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity and will absolutely do it again!"

LOCATION

Héraðsskólinn is located in the heart of the Golden Circle, Iceland’s most famous nature route. Our retreat overlooks a pristine lake that is fed by hot springs. It’s nestled near exquisite parks, hot rivers, mountains, volcano craters, a geothermal spa, and the Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall, which we will visit together every afternoon, including experiential art exercises inspired by Iceland’s masterpieces. Our bodies will be open, grounded and connected through daily Qoya classes and optional breathing, meditation and gentle walks in the morning. In the evening, we will gather in circle to celebrate, appreciate, honor and integrate our creative expansions through rituals and ceremonies.

Our retreat will happen during the short period before and after Summer Solstice in Iceland, where we can witness one of nature's most magnificent shows on Earth - the setting of the midnight sun, a natural phenomena where the sun sets just after midnight and rises again just a couple hours later. The slow sunsets and sunrises come together to create one beautifully colored sky with vibrant shades of orange, pink, and reds that make for incredibly picturesque displays of beauty that last for hours (even after sunset, it’s still bright!)
