Austin, TX and India
Heather is Texan by birth and mostly lived in Austin while in the United States, but has been living in Asia for the past thirteen years. She started as a traveler in Thailand exploring much of South East Asia and ended up in Taiwan teaching English to children. She knew Taiwan was not her place long term and continued to search for her sweet little home in the East. She lived in Egypt for a while as a dive master in the Red Sea and then was drawn back further east where she followed her heart to India. For the past eight years she has lived mostly in India with an occasional trip to the states or over to another Asian country for a visa run. She is a certified yoga teacher having completed her course with a daughter school of Bihar School of Yoga and is also certified in Thai and Ayurvedic Yoga massage. Storytelling is also part of her magical life, and she is working on publishing her first children's book.
