When did you take your first Qoya class? January 18, 2014

What does it mean for you to teach Qoya? Teaching Qoya is a privilege to guide women to fully express themselves through their bodies and revel in the pleasures of their movement. Qoya is a sacred practice in returning home, connecting with the divine, a moving meditation. In teaching Qoya, I am an extension of the Divine.

What would you tell someone who is thinking of taking a Qoya class for the first time? If you feel drawn to Qoya, follow your instinct. It is a sacred experience where all of your faces as a woman are embraced and honored. Your body instinctively knows how to move and she will feel like she is home through the Qoya movement. You only need to know one thing ~ if it feels good, you are doing it right!
