A little about me... I am a mystic and explorer of the Divine. I have discovered that through the transformation and exploration of consciousness and embodiment we can move from fear into love, from forgetfulness into remembering, from suffering into healing, dis-embodiment to full on- body-heart- and soul embodiment. This my passion and my Sacred Work in the world. I have a philosophers mind and a mystics heart with gypsy tendencies.

In 1998 I started practicing yoga and meditation regularly, studying the chakras and energy Bio-fields, bodywork and alternative heath practices. Since then I have studied, trained, mentored all over the country with master teachers and healers, shamans and priestesses, yogis, cosmic misfits, mystics, pioneers in mindfulness somatic psychology, medium and psychic gurus, and have made many pilgrimages to sacred sites nationally and internationally. Qoya is an amazing synthesis and graceful container for the alchemy of much I have studied and now embody through this movement practice. It is Magic in action.

My own life's personal journey has taught me and continues to teach me the power of surrender, trust, love, and the importance of community and tribe, and I LOVE my Qoya tribe! In all the ways my work expresses itself in the world, whether it be a private session or reading, a class, workshop or sacred ceremony I hold them all with deep gratitude and in celebration of the magic of life and the expression of Love. I am honored to hold space, to be a witness to the power of one soul remembering in any given moment the beauty of who they truly are.

When did you take your first Qoya class? I took my first Qoya class in April 2015.

What does it mean for me to teach Qoya? To teach Qoya is a Gift.To create sacred space is an honor. So much more is happening in the unseen then what one would see with the naked eye. Teaching Qoya is an invitation to dance with the interior and to extend that invitation out to others. To hold space as a circle of equals. The wisdom of each woman's body and inner life is the real teacher and I have the honor of witnessing and holding a strong sacred container for that wisdom to grow. I am in awe witnessing women feeling more, embodying what is arising in the fire of the moment for them knowing that the shadow and light all have a place on the dance floor. What a sacred gift.

What is your favorite song to dance to right now? We Are Here-Alicia Keys and Ava Maria-Ashanna

What book has inspired you on the path to embodying the feminine? I read 2 books when I was 20 that changed my life for embodying and honoring the feminine. One was Shakti Woman-Vikki Noble and Dancing in the Flames by Marion Woodman, ( a close third that same year is Women who run with the Wolves) There are so many others that have danced with me during the last 16 years but those are the ones that carved a foundation and created a change in the direction of my life and understanding of who I am , who we all are, as women and embodying the divine feminine.

What would you tell someone who is thinking of taking a Qoya class? To go for it!!!! That is is a magical dance into the very heart of yourself and a celebration for the collective remembering.
