When did you take your first Qoya class? First class was online with Rochelle's videos and first time in person was in Venice CA with Kelly Q & Rochelle. Online was fun but in person was Great! I traveled from San Diego to LA to take the class. I really wanted to take experience Qoya, Im so glad I did!
What does it mean for you to teach Qoya? It's a way to give back something that nourishes and touches me so deeply. As well as a doorway for community, self love, self care, and deep connections.
What is your favorite song to dance to right now? Ooh, I love Happy by Pharell Williams, Get Lucky by Daft Punk, Safe&Sound by Capitol Cities, and anything with some deep tribal drumming :)
What book has inspired you on the path to embodying the feminine? Theres never just one... Desire, the tantric Path to Awakening, Mama Gena's School of the Womanly Arts, and David Deida's books
What would you tell someone who is thinking of taking a Qoya class for the first time? I like to say "its a class that combines yoga, dance and sensual movement, then imagine your having a girls night out & sacred ceremony all mixed together."
